Before I fell off track, I was really into eating healthy foods. I didn’t crave junk food or unhealthy food, you can say. It was actually really easy for me to say no to food that I felt was not good for my body. I craved fruits, water, and even veggies. And anyone who knows me knows I’ve never been fond of veggies. But the healthier I ate, the more I would crave healthy food.
I even started going for vegan options.
But, at some point, I started going back to my old ways. I began to say yes to junk food, sweets, greasy foods, desserts, you name it. Everything started going downhill from there. And before I knew it, I was again craving unhealthy food and having a really hard time eating healthy.
It’s Possible To Enjoy Eating Healthy Food
This made me realize that you really do crave what you eat. The healthier you eat, the healthier your cravings will be. If you only eat junk food, you will never crave healthy food. So, the only way to change your diet and start craving the right kind of food is by forcing yourself to eat right.
That’s why I’m resetting my fitness and health journey this year with the goal of enjoying eating healthy food again! And while no journey is easy, I know that with the help of great food blogs, I’m going to find tasty but healthy recipes that will make eating healthy easy!
