Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (NKJV)

1. PRAY INTENTIONALLY

No matter what, don’t let a day go by without being in contact with God. Whether you’re a morning bird or a night owl, make sure you find a moment in your day to pray to God and open your heart to him. Praying daily will help you find peace and stay connected to God.

Colossians 4:2 – Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. (NKJV)

2. READ SCRIPTURE DAILY

Take a moment from your day to sit down, open your Bible, and let God talk to you through scripture.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.  (NKJV)

3. STUDY THE BIBLE

Don’t just settle with reading a portion of scripture. Instead, challenge yourself to really study the Bible and engage with God’s Word in a more engaging way. You can either study different books in the Bible, characters, or topics.

John 5:39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. (NKJV)

4. WORSHIP GOD

Keep your mind and heart on God by worshiping him at all times. You can worship God with psalms, songs of praise, or Christian music. Something that I have found very helpful in my walk with God is replacing secular music with Christian music. This helps maintain your connection with God even when you’re jamming to some music.

CHRISTIAN SONGS TO LISTEN TO:

Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! (NKJV)

5. ATTEND CHURCH

God wants you to grow as a Christian woman not just individually but collectively as well. At home, you’re responsible to grow individually as you consistently read scripture, pray intentionally, and keep God present in your daily life. However, in church (whether this is in-person or via zoom), God is able to strengthen, comfort, and build you along with your brothers and sisters.

1 Corinthians 14:26 – How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. (NKJV)

6. FEED YOUR SOUL

The same way you feed your stomach every single day, it’s important that you feed your soul daily with Godly activities, content, and moments. Actively look for ways to feed your soul so that your soul doesn’t suffer from spiritual hunger! Here are some easy ways to feed your soul:

  • Listen to Christian podcasts, music, and sermons.
  • Watch Christian YouTubers, tiktoks, movies, and TV shows.
  • Follow Christian accounts on social media. You can follow my Christian-based account, here!
  • Read the Bible and Christian books.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. (NKJV)

8. REPEAT BIBLICAL AFFIRMATIONS

Keep God’s Word in your heart, mouth, and mind at all times by practicing biblical affirmations! I love biblical affirmations because they help you maintain a positive heart, speak God’s word aloud, and confess victory inspired by God’s truth.

If you don’t know what biblical affirmations to repeat, check out the following posts:

Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (NKJV)

9. SERVE GOD

Use the gifts God has given you to glorify his name, demonstrate Jesus’ love to others, and live out your true purpose in life. Although there are so many different ways you can serve God in your daily life and you should never limit yourself to just serving in a specific area, pay close attention to God’s calling for your life. God may want you to share the gospel, take up a role in your church, or simply feed someone in need. Whatever it is God has called you for, make sure you do it with a humble, open, and loving heart.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (NKJV)

10. KEEP A CHRISTIAN JOURNAL

Buy yourself a journal to use for Godly things. Here are some ways to make the best use of a christian journal:

  • Create a gratitude list where you can thank God for different blessings in your life.
