7 Blogging Tips For Bloggers Who Need Motivation
1. DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHER BLOGGERS
Check out other blogs for inspiration, but don’t hurt yourself by comparing yourself to other bloggers. Every blogger is different. Just because your blogging style doesn’t resemble another bloggers’ style, it does not mean that your blog isn’t good or that it’s inferior to other blogs.
2. TAKE BREAKS, BUT DON’T QUIT BLOGGING
Feeling overwhelmed and stressed comes with the territory.
It’s completely okay to feel overwhelmed.
It’s okay to not be okay from time to time.
Hey, it’s even okay to take some time off, as long as you don’t let your blog suffer from it! If blogging is your dream, give yourself small breaks when you need them, but always remember to come back. It’s important to learn to rest and not quit. Always remember your WHY.
3. INVEST TIME ON YOUR BLOG
Stop saying yes to people or things if it means saying no to yourself and to your blog. Make time for your responsibilities, but also make time for your dreams. If you don’t make time for your blog now, when will you ever? Learn to say NO when needed – it will do wonders for you and your blog.
4. TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING EVERYDAY
Regardless of the stage that you’re in as a blogger (whether you’re a newbie or experienced blogger), don’t ever stop learning. The more you learn, the better your blog will be. There’s always something new to learn! You’ll be shocked at how much you have yet to learn and from who you’ll learn from.
5. BELIVE IN YOUR BLOG
Hey, don’t underestimate your potential or sell yourself short. If you don’t have faith in yourself, how do you expect others to? Genuinely love what you create and be extremely proud of it. Only you know what goes on behind the scenes for each blog post you create. So, value your work.
6. DON’T LET OPINIONS AFFECT YOU
Know the difference between perception and reality. Perception is based on opinions, while reality is based on facts. Just because someone doesn’t like your work doesn’t mean that your work isn’t good or good enough. Someone doesn’t like your blog? Cool, it’s just a matter of perspective!
7. GROW AT YOUR OWN PACE
Everyone’s progress is different. Don’t expect to grow at the same pace as x blogger. You don’t live the same exact life as they do, so it’s impossible to mimic their entire life and grow exactly like them. Learn to grow at your own pace knowing that any kind of progress is still progress.

I think tip 2 is really important and something I have tried not to feel guilty doing! Thanks for sharing these 🙂
These are all wonderful tips!! I completely agree with you about looking to other bloggers for inspiration (and community/friendship), but not comparing yourself to others’ growth, etc. We are all so different, so of course our blogs will be different and grow differently.
Continuing to learn is so essential – and that is something that I need to make time for 100%. I think I’ve let myself become stagnate there, but there are so many cool web things to learn.
And the best part about learning is that there is ALWAYS something new to learn everyday! I recently purchased a new theme and I was amazed at how many things I learned while setting up my theme.
