Blogging is so much more than just writing and creating content. It requires a lot of passion, strength, dedication, effort and motivation! It’s not everyday that a blogger wakes up motivated, energetic and ready to blog away (I wish!) There are many days of self-doubt, feeling unmotivated, uninspired, blocked and exhuasted. Readers may not be able to tell what goes on behind the scenes because as bloggers we try to show the very best of our lives. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t hurt or need words of encouragement from time to time. So, for all of my blogging babes, who are either in need of some motivation, uplifting words, words of advice or some tough love, here are 7 of my very best (lived) tips – a tip for every day of the week!

My blogging dreams would not be possible without you, so thank you for your continous support. It means the absolute world to me! XO
Check out other blogs for inspiration but don’t hurt yourself by comparing yourself to other bloggers. Everyone is different. Just because your style of blogging doesn’t resemble another bloggers’ style, it does not mean that your blog is no good or is lesser than another blog. Learn to enjoy and admire the differences!
Feeling overwhelmed and stressed comes with the territory. It’s completely okay to feel overwhelmed. It’s okay to not be okay from time to time. Hey, it’s even okay to take some time off, as long as you don’t let your blog suffer from it. If blogging is your dream, give yourself small breaks when you need them, but always remember to come back. Learn to rest and not quit. Always remember your WHY.
Stop saying yes to people or things if it means saying no to yourself and to your blog. Make time for your responsibilities, but also make time for your dreams. If you don’t make time for your blog now, when will you ever? Learn to say NO when needed – it will do wonders for you and your blog.
Regardless of the stage that you’re in as a blogger (whether a newbie or experienced), don’t ever stop wanting to learn. The more you learn, the better your blog will be. There’s always something new to learn. You’ll be shocked at how much you have yet to learn and from who you’ll learn from.
Don’t underestimate your potential or sell yourself short. If you don’t have faith in yourself, how do you expect others to? Love what you create and be extremely proud of it. Only you know what goes on behind the scenes for each blog post you create. Be proud……you deserve to be!
Know the difference between perception and reality. Perception is based on opinions, while reality is based on facts. Just because someone doesn’t like your work doesn’t mean that your work isn’t good or good enough. Someone doesn’t like your blog? Cool, it’s just a matter of perspective!
Everyone’s progress is DIFFERENT. Don’t expect to grow at the same pace as x blogger. You don’t live the same exact life as they do, so it’s impossible to mimic their entire life and grow exactly like them. Learn to grow at your own pace knowing that any kind of progress is still progress.
I hope you found these tips helpful! Please know that we are all in this together. Everything you feel is completely normal and relatable. Just because a blogger doesn’t open up about the lows of blogging, it doesn’t mean that they don’t experience them. We all do! YOU are not alone (:
Until next time,
