Easy DIY Manila Folder Planners

Whether 2018 was a good or bad year for you, aspire to make 2019 a better year. A new year calls for some serious growth. But how will growth occur if you continue to repeat the same things you did in 2018 & past years? Don’t let 2018 sneak up on you this year and certainly don’t live in the shadow of past years. Leave the past years behind and start 2019 with a fresh mindset.

With that being said, let’s speak about organization today. If you’ve always been an organized person, let me help you take your organization to the next level! If you’ve never been an organized person, well then let me help you change that! I’ve figured that the more organized you are, the more goals and tasks you can accomplish. And the more you accomplish, the more you grow!

See the pattern there? Good organization leads to growth.

Now, you don’t have to invest hundreds on planners or other supplies to organize your life. You can actually create a very effective PLANNER on your own by using manila folders! Today, I will teach your how!

Supplies to create manila folder planners

1. Neatly cut out all of the excess paper from the sides of the calendars!

2. Add 9 pieces of tape behind every sheet of (calendar) paper for every month!

3. Place the sheets of papers on the center of every manila folder.

4. Label the top of all of your manila folders with the corresponding months.

5. Begin labeling the days in every month or at least for the first few months.

You will fill in your folders as the months go by. I will provide you will all kinds of fun and helpful printables to include inside of your folders in the upcoming posts! So, keep your eyes peeled!

There are already a few things that you can include in your JANUARY folder that are live on the blog.

A stack of manila folders

Remember, you don’t have to include the same printables (pdfs) in your folders every single month. It is totally acceptable to change things up. Which is why I will aim to give you guys a variety of printables that you can put inside your folders, in the upcoming weeks. So, heads up for that.

If there is something you want to add, go ahead! This is YOUR planner, so please add what you want! If you want to create some charts, reminders, checklists or other fun things to add inside, please do!

What I love the most about using manila folders is that you have the liberty to adjust & add things at any time. Every time you come across a new planner or checklist, you can just add it inside your manila folder and begin using it that month. Simple as that!

It is also pretty neat to be able to see what happened every month – what worked, what didn’t, your progress, etc! Don’t wait any longer to change up 2019! Start now.

The littlest things make the greatest difference!
